Design Notes

The FimHL was conjugated to GFP, as seen in composite part BBa_K4633100 to allow for testing of expression.


Source

The sequence of FimH was derived from the FimTyper database and corresponds to the FimH sequence of E. coli ST131 [1]. It was truncated to include only amino acids 1-163 based on existing literature [2], [3].
